Improved Insurance From Lloyds TSB

Lloyds TSB have made a number of improvements to their buildings and contents insurance policies recently.

One of the most important ones is the increase in the contents cover value, which previously stood at a maximum of GBP 50,000 but is now unlimited. On the buildings side the amount available for alternative accommodation, in the case of the property being uninhabitable, has gone up to GBP 20,000 from GBP 15,000.

Those with gardens will also be delighted to hear that garden features will now be covered as standard under the buildings policy. This has been a subject that has been on many peoples minds as more and more of us use our gardens as an extension of our houses now.

Lloyds TSB recognise that contents are increasing in value each year, with high technology items quickly taking contents values much higher than previously. This is why they took off the value ceiling.
