Sainsburys Bank report that a large number of UK consumers have been utilising the 0 percent balance transfer offers and reduced interest purchase cards to better manage their bills that are now coming in after Christmas.
The head of credit cards at Sainsburys Bank also added that, according to the research they have carried out, approximately two thirds of UK consumers will have all their festive spending cleared by the end of January, suggesting that the position of most people is pretty good compared with how it could be.
