Halifax Car Loan Department Reveals Buying Preferences

Many people have used a Halifax unsecured personal loan to buy a car, providing the organisation with a great deal of background information about preferences.

It seems that it is the younger Halifax customers who are most likely to pay for modifications on their cars, whilst female drivers prefer to invest in upgrades on the vehicle. Around twenty percent of drivers aged between 17 and 24 have gone for upgrades worth over GBP500, with young male drivers most likely opting for engine modifications.

From the female viewpoint it is more often a new audio system or sat-nav that they want, and it may come as a surprise but the ladies also spend more, on average, than the men on their upgrades, according to the Halifax data.
