A new study by Legal and General has found that six out of ten of us are dreaming of living in our dream home at some time in the future. At the moment only around 1 in 7 of us have already got our dream home.
The favoured type of property sought by people is a house in the country, with 20 percent of people saying this would be their dream property according to the Alliance and Leicester study. A detached home in the suburbs is second on the list.
A spokesman for Legal and General saw the survey as very positive for the housing market, feeling that the general view of the future housing market is positive. With so many people still feeling they can achieve their dream home there is lots of hope for the housing market.
